Fibromyalgia and Chronic Myofascial Pain: A Survivor Manual – 2nd Edition

Devin Starlanyl, a physician who has suffered chronic myofascial pain (CMP) along with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) published a text titled Fibromyalgia and Chronic Myofascial Pain: A Survivor Manual – 2nd Edition.  In this text, Dr. Starlanyl offers invaluable advice on the treatment and self care for an individual diagnosed with these conditions.  She even goes as far to mention that a person suffering with these conditions should locate a therapist who has attended The Academy for Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, now called the Pittsburgh School of Pain Management.  The Pittsburgh School of Pain Management was the first school to be recognized by the NAMTPT.
