Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy for persons with (hypermobility) *HSD/EDS, Fibromyalgia and Older Adults

*HMS is now being termed as HSD : Hypermobile Spectrum Disorder.



Our In-person Conference  will be held:

       The world's leaders in the treatment of and understanding of myofascial pain, myofascial dysfunction, fascia science and manual therapy techniques  will share cutting-edge science and treatment options for practitioners who work with many types of special populations.


         Registrants will learn from leading experts in the field and will be able to actively participate so as to learn many innovative hands-on techniques.

The NAMTPT is a NCBTMB Approved Provider of Continuing Education for Massage Therapists.

2026 NAMTPT Conference  Keynote Speaker

Dr Tina J Wang

Facial and myofascial dysfunctions in people affected by hypermobility characteristics


In this keynote lecture, hypermobility expert and awesome person Dr Tina J Wang will outline some of the key characteristics found in persons within the hypermobility spectrum disorder. This includes but is not limited to myofascial pain, joint instability 

tendon and ligament dysfunction. Dr Wang will be using video examples with actual persons with hypermobility to highlight and help us understand from the patient's  point of view some of the challenges they face. Then we will learn some of the positive outcomes and improvements they gain once they learn strategies to cope with their disabilities and changes to the myofascial and fascial structures.  Video examples and in-practice applicable techniques will be shared with registrants.

Dr Wang's Lecture will be: Thursday October 15th, 6-8pm. Plenty of time for Q & A so prepare your many questions for this world-leader in myofascial and fascial disorders!

The NAMTPT is the ONLY organization in the world dedicated to the study, understanding of and treatment of Myofascial Pain due to Myofascial Trigger Points. We are a diverse group of practitioners working with PTs , MDs NPs, LPNs to use the full clinical reasoning as outlined in the full myofascial triger point therapy protocol; Including but NOT limited to: Pre-treatment assessment, remediation of perpetuating factors, ROM assessment, referral pattern comparison, application of trigger point pressure release, RI, PNF, and other active release techniques, post-treatment assessment and instruction in home self-applied trigger point pressure release.   
We are honored to be in alignment with many other professional groups including the FRS.
