Mark Hagerty, NP

Mark has been  board certified as a family nurse practitioner since 2015. He worked as an APN serving the refugee and immigrant community as well as patients from Chicagoland area. His career in healthcare is rich with experiences including work with nursing home patients, home care, medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and direct patient care as a medical surgical/float staff RN for 10 years.

For the past 3 years Mark  has also been a specialist in myofascial pain and dysfunction working closely with Mary Biancalana and Sue Dimbert. Mark provides myofascial evaluations and  trigger point injections to the patients at Whole Health Chicago, and is well aware of the many biochemical and medical perpetuating factors that need to be uncovered to allow full remediation of myofascial / chronic pain.  Through his experience he has been able to incorporate techniques that are considerate of cultural norms while adapting to the educational and social needs of his patients. He is passionate about treating the whole person and taking into consideration all aspects of their wellness including mental health, nutrition, disease prevention and lifestyle modifications.
